Nutrition
School lunch is $1.90 per day or $9.50 for a five day week. Reduced price meals are
.40 each or $2.00 per week. Cold lunch milk is .50 each or $2.50 per
week. All lunch and milk money is due the first day of each new week -
usually Monday - for the entire week. It can be paid for one or more
weeks. You may choose to pay for the menu calendar or by the school
quarter. Your child’s account is updated daily and you may check it at
any time on how much unused money they have in their account. Monday
(or the 1st day of the school week) lunch money will be collected in
the Art Room before school. If a student is absent the first day of the
school week, they may bring lunch money to the school office upon their
return to school.
For accurate accounting purposes, please send your child’s lunch money in this manner:
1. If you pay by cash, place the money in a tightly sealed envelope with your child and teacher’s name clearly printed on it.
2. If you pay by check, you can put the above information on the check.
The check should be made out to MSAD #22 Lunch Program. Please indicate
if the child’s name is different than the printed name on the check.
Please pay for lunches/milk in advance to eliminate billing. Money
should not be paid in the lunch line. We try to accurately account for
all the money sent to us and we appreciate your help.
Breakfast is also available to our students. If your child wishes to
participate in the program, they should be at school by 8:30 (unless
they come on a bus). Breakfast is $1.15 per day, though there is no
charge for children who qualify for reduced or free lunch.
