In 2008, M.S.A.D. #22's Adult Education Program entered into a partnership with Orono's Adult &
Community Education Program. The Hampden site continues to run fall, winter, and
spring sessions and offers personal enrichment, vocational and academic courses to residents of
Hampden, Winterport and Newburgh. Partnering with Orono will allow both programs the
opportunity to provide a wider variety of course offerings and will offer some instructors the
opportunity to offer their courses in both educational communities.
Anyone who would like to see a new course offered, who would be interested in teaching a
course, or who has a question about our adult education program can call our Hampden office
between the hours of 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm from Monday through Thursday.
