We don’t mean to turn you off from blogging by immediately inundating you with legal terms, but we need to make clear our respective rights
and responsibilities related to this service.

By accessing, creating or contributing to any blogs hosted at http://sad22.us/, and in consideration for the Services we
provide to you, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully before posting to or creating any blog.

Rights in the Content You Submit:

• All subject matter must be related to curriculum, instruction, school-authorized activities, professional development or it should relate to the school district or schools within the district.
• No unlawful use of copyrighted materials may be knowingly used, produced, or transmitted via school blogs.
• All material published to the MSAD 22 web server may be audited, suspended and removed from the web server without prior notice.

Conduct of posting:
Those of us who are coordinating this project believe deeply in free speech. Given our role in offering this service and our presence
together as part of the extended  community, however, we must reserve the right to remove certain content that you may post.

• Student or staff work may be published only as it relates to a class project or professional development.
• Staff may not publish personal websites on the web server.
• Staff is not to publish material that is offensive in nature.
• The web server is not to be used for the creation or distribution of any offensive, or disruptive websites, including messages containing offensive comments about race, gender, age, sexual orientation, pornography, religious or political beliefs, national origin or disability.

You acknowledge that MSAD #22 does not pre-screen or regularly review posted content, but that it shall have the right to remove in its sole discretion any
content that it considers to violate these Terms or the terms of any other MSAD #22 user agreements that may govern your use of the school networks.

Students:

Publishing personal information of our students is prohibited.

• Student names, work, and pictures may NOT be published unless a Parent or legal Guardian signs a signed permission form.
• Directory information such as names may be published without parent permission, but not with pictures or student work. Please use only first name and first intial to ID students. (Ex: Mike Hart = Mike H.)
• Web page documents may not include a students phone number, address, or complete names of any family members and/or friends. 
• Web page documents may not include any information, which indicates the physical location of a student at a given time, other than attendance at a particular school or participation in activities.
• Web publishing of e-mail addresses is restricted to staff members only. 

Modification of These Terms of Use
MSAD #22 reserves the right to change, at any time, at our sole discretion, the Terms under which these Services are offered. You are responsible for regularly
reviewing these Terms. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your agreement to all such Terms.

Copyright Complaints

MSAD #22 respects the intellectual property of others, and requires
that our users do the same. If you believe that your work has been
copied and is accessible on this site in a way that constitutes
copyright infringement, or that your intellectual property rights have
been otherwise violated, please email Mike Hart for reporting copyright infringements.
