Hampden Academy is an outstanding public high school with a dedicated staff and a student body that excels in academic, social, and civic areas. We are committed to maintaining and improving our quality educational program which reflects a culture of respect and trust, and in which high standards, student inquiry, student reflections, and student interest drive teaching and learning. We are further committed to working with students and parents to create experiences that will challenge our students to grow and develop academically, socially and civically.

During the 2010 - 2011 we will continue an academic advisory program to insure that each student has an adult at Hampden Academy, in addition a guidance counselor, who will help the student monitor academic, social, and civic progress in light of individual post-secondary goals. Academic offerings include AP courses, college-credit courses, vocational training leading to national certification, internships and service-learning opportunities.
