Hampden Academy Construction Project

Beginning November 2nd construction personnel and equipment working on
the new Hampden Academy will be accessing the site from a construction
entrance located at the intersection of Routes 9 and 202 in Hampden.
Motorists are advised to use additional caution in this area.

NWEA Testing:
Throughout the year, students will be participating in the NWEA testing process. To learn more about this adaptive, computer-based assessment, visit the NWEA site.

Interactive SmartBoards:

Each school has received an interactive smartboard for classroom use. The touch-sensitive display connects to the teacher computer and digital projector to show the teachers computer screen. The teacher can then control computer applications directly from the display, write notes in digital ink and save their work to share later. Please visit the SmartBoard site to learn more.

New District Distance Learning System:

MSAD 22 has implemented a new on-line learning system that allows teachers to post classroom information, notes, homework and quizzes. This new on-line learning system is called Moodle. To learn more about Moodle, please visit the Moodle web site.
