The seventh grade experience at Reeds Brook allows students to:

• Participate in a mock trial over events that occur in The Outsiders
• Debate topics after reading The Pearl
• Choose a notable poet or famous song lyricist to study and write a research paper
• Develop an original invention and create a marketing brochure. All projects are displayed at the Invention Fair where judges select several to compete in the Maine Invention Fair.
• Create French family and school units
• Travel to the Colby College Art Museum
• Take a field trip to the Penobscot Theather
• Explore Cole's Land Transportation Museum
• Discover Greece, China and Japan, complete with plays and food
