Our School
Leroy H Smith is a K-5 school located in the town of Winterport. We have approximately 280 students. Housed at the Smith School is a HeadStart Program for four year olds. Our school has sixteen classroom teachers, three Special Education teachers, one and one half speech and language pathologists, three Title I/Reading Recovery teachers, one half time technology teacher, one physical educations teacher, and a guidance counselor. We share teachers with the other district schools for music and art. Several educational technicians are also employed at the Smith School.
